Lisa Simpkins has resigned from the Village of Lake Orion’s Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee and the Planning Commission.
Kim Santini, who was a non-voting member of the advisory committee, was appointed to the balance of Simpkin’s term ending March 31, 2006.
The village council has accepted the resignation of Kirk Kaufman from the village’s Board of Zoning Appeals. He is moving out of the village.

Two members of the Village of Lake Orion’s Board of Zoning Appeals have resigned. Regular member Tony Sarsfield has moved to Clarkston. Alternate member Jack Covert said he could no longer serve.
Current alternate member Curtis Andreski has been appointed to take Sarsfield’s place.
Architect Steve Auger and Bob Hollenbeck, village councilman, have been reappointed to new four-year terms on the Downtown Development Authority Board.
Councilman Ken Van Portfliet is now representing the village council on the Orion Cable Commission. As yet, no one has volunteered to be a village resident representative.
John Ranville, the newest village council member, has volunteered to serve on the village’s parks and recreation advisory committee.
