Clarkston bid farewell to summer with a sunny Labor Day Parade, Monday.
Community groups, classic cars, Clarkston marching band, businesses, and dozens of other floats, all announced by Dale Ryan, voice of the Wolves, marched down Main Street to the cheers of the crowd.

Thousands lined the streets all through downtown Lake Orion Saturday as the 2009 Holiday Lighted Parade rolled through town.
The event, sponsored by the Orion Area Parade Group, featured marching bands, horses, dancers, fire trucks, a large number of local civic organizations, scouts and more.
When the parade was over, spectators had seen nearly 80 participants, including Santa Claus, the jolly guy in red himself.
