Brandon Twp.- Save the date? the annual Business Expo sponsored by the Ortonville Area Chamber of Commerce is set for 5-8 p.m., May 14, at the Brandon High School cafeteria, 1025 S. Ortonville Road.
The event will feature indoor and outdoor exhibits from local area businesses. Admission is free, with numerous giveaways, door prizes, and family fun including a clown, face painting, balloons, scavenger hunt and more are planned.
Jill Adair, co-owner of MacPhee’s Restaurant, 650 S. Ortonville Road, has had exhibitor space at the Business Expo since its inception several years ago.
‘I think this is a great opportunity for the community to come out and see the local businesses showcased,? Adair said.
‘For us, it gives people a chance to try our food and come back (to the restaurant) as a customer. Especially now with the way the economy is, you’ve got to do whatever you can to get people into your business.?

Space can be obtained for $75 through May 1, or $100 after May 1.
