On May 30, more than 340 H.T. Burt Elementary students participated in an all day, last hurrah field day. Parent volunteers Kamla Long and Ann Smith organized the events directed toward skill levels of the first-fifth graders. Students participated in relay races, long jump, javelin, broad jump, a 50 yard dash, horseshoes, giant puzzle, scooter relay, volley beach ball, water balloon toss, sack races and buddy walkers.
