The responding officer noticed a white van in the woman’s driveway with damage to the front bumper. The woman stated that she has hit the home in the past, but she did not do it this time.

Neighbor Trouble – a resident on Pontiac St. claimed a nearby neighbor dumped concrete in their yard. Also stated that the neighbor allowed their dog to “dump” in the yard.

Police received a complaint about where a local business owner was parking her vehicle. The citizen filing the parking complaint stated that handicapped and elderly individuals were “forced to walk long distances to get to businesses.” Police investigated the situation and found the owner to be properly parked.

A resident on Dennison St. complained about a neighbor’s dog barking in its kennel.
Police investigating a report of disorderly conduct found a man and woman engaged in a verbal dispute at the intersection of Broadway and Glaspie streets.

A suspicious vehicle seen on Pontiac St. turned out to be a bus parked behind Oxford Elementary School with the doors left open.
Medical emergency on Heddy Rd.
A sheriff’s deputy arrested a 46-year-old Oxford female for an outstanding warrant, reckless driving and a probation violation after she was seen driving recklessly along M-24 and collided with a yellow Escort at the intersection of M-24 and Drahner Rd.

A mail carrier filed an animal complaint about a chow running loose in the village.
A suspicious circumstance around Bay Pointe Dr. and Whispering Winds turned out to be a man and his son scuba diving in the lake.
A 40-year-old Oxford Twp. man was charged with driving with a suspended license and not having a driver’s license on his person after a sheriff’s deputy stopped him for speeding and not wearing a seatbelt.

The 911 dispatcher received several calls from the same address and would receive a busy signal upon call back. Officers learned that the calls were from a resident on Oakmont Dr. who was attempting to hook up and program a computer.

An 18-year-old Tanview resident reported a suspicious circumstance after finding egg on her car. The young lady said that she was unsure who did it, but suspected someone she knows.
