A suspicious vehicle sitting in a parking lot on W. Burdick St. turned out to be a man waiting for the crew he works with to come out.
Medical emergency on Cardigan.
A 16-year-old Oxford youth lost control of his vehicle in the Christ the King Church and struck one of the church’s parked vans. The youth left the scene of the accident, but was later tracked down by deputies because of the damage to his own vehicle.

A resident on Pontiac St. contacted police because someone kept knocking on her front door early in the morning and then leaving.

Suspicious circumstance on Crawford St. in the Village Manor Apartments turned out to be a resident reporting a strange phone call where an unknown male told her to beware, she’s in trouble and call the police.

The cleaning lady at Bank One on Lapeer Rd. called 911 because a suspicious male was sitting in a car outside the building.

Civil matter between an ex-husband and wife on N. Baldwin Rd.
A mother on W. Manor Dr. reported that her 15-year-old son had runaway. The Oakland County Sheriff’s report said the youth could be in medical danger because he requires breathing treatments.

Thursday, September 11
Suspicious circumstance turned out to be two teens sitting on a bench in the northwest quadrant parking lot asking passersby for money.

A 40-year-old Oxford man was stopped on N. Washington Rd. for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.

Saturday, September 13
A 36-year-old intoxicated Oxford man fell off his bike in the middle of the Burdick St. and Washington Rd. intersection after being startled and almost struck by a motorist. The Oxford man had been attempting to cross Washington Rd. against traffic.
Suspicious vehicle on Glaspie turned out to be a semi-truck at the Oxford Department of Public Works.
Medical emergency in Addison Oaks Park west of Romeo Rd.
After being stopped for having a headlight out, a 17-year-old Oxford resident was found to be in possession of marijuana.
Suspicious vehicle on S. Washington turned out to be an intoxicated individual who had just left a downtown establishment.
A family on Cygnet called 911 because a female member of the family with severe brain damage was missing and relatives needed assistance in locating her.

A 52-year-old woman on Crestwood Dr. reported that someone had stolen several items from her home and vehicle while she was at work.

A woman outside of Empire Wok called 911 because she found a small girl wandering by herself near the business.

Suspicious person on N. Washington turned out to be an intoxicated individual with a blood alcohol level of .332 requiring medical attention.

Monday, September 15

Suspicious vehicle on Dayton St. turned out to be a local resident’s insurance agent.
Two Oxford students were involved in a fight while on the school bus around 3:00 p.m.
An East Manor Dr. resident reported that around 1:00 a.m. an unknown white male put a dent in the rear right door of his vehicle.
Suspicious circumstance on S. Washington Rd. turned out to be a resident reporting a possible break-in by her ex-boyfriend.
A 40-year-old Oxford man was arrested in the northwest quadrant parking lot for possession of marijuana.

Tuesday, September 16
Female resident on Beemer Court called 911 because “there is someone outside her house by her doorwall.”
Parking complaint made near the Oxford Party Shop.
A resident on Thornehill Trail reported that someone is sending numerous magazines to his home.
Medical emergency at the intersection of Catchacoma and Lakeville roads.
An unknown individual blew up the mailbox of a 55-year-old Shipman Rd. resident.
An Oxford Township resident complained of harassment from her ex-husband.

Wednesday, September 17
Resident on Lakesedge Dr. complained about a satellite company continually soliciting her even though she has asked them to stop calling.
Police assisted a motorist on W. Burdick St. with a disabled vehicle.

Deputies responded to a call of a suicidal subject on Chinkapin Rill. The 22-year-old male had slit his wrist by the time authorities arrived and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital by American Mobile Response.

Thursday, September 18

An Ora resident called 911 and claimed to be having a nervous breakdown. The young woman’s mother then came on the line and told police to disregard the statements.

Friday, September 19
A previous S. Washington St. resident, who is currently moving from that apartment, reported that her ex-boyfriend may have stolen a couch, love seat and storage box from the building.

A 29-year-old Clarkston man was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor after giving a 19-year-old youth beer at the Oxford Homecoming football game.
Ordinance violation on Park St.
Civil matter between a woman and her ex-husband on W. Burdick St.
Vehicle lockout behind the Oxford Police Department.
Residents reported a fight at the corner of Pearl and Ensley involving several teens.
Abandoned auto found at the intersection of Oxford Lakes Dr. and N. Glaspie Rd.
Around 11:45 p.m. a woman on W. Burdick contacted police because her 14-year-old daughter and a friend had not returned home from the Oxford High School Homecoming game.
A 16-year-old Oxford Township youth was cited for driving without a license and reckless driving after he lost control of his truck and rolled over on Newman Rd.

Saturday, September 20
Juvenile complaint on Lincoln St.
A&A Flower Shop on N. Washington St. reported difficulties with an irate customer.
A suspicious person at the intersection of N. Washington St. and W. Burdick St. turned out to be a man holding up a sign and yelling into traffic.
Suspicious circumstance on E. Burdick St. turned out to be a group of people with a flashlight on a scavenger hunt.

A suspicious person, possibly intoxicated, came into Bella Casa Interiors wanting money for diapers.
Suspicious Circumstance – Deputies responded to a 67-year-old S. Baldwin Rd. resident who came home to find an unknown woman standing near her open garage. The woman asked the Baldwin Rd. resident if she wanted to sell her tractor. When told “no,” the unknown woman left in a truck with a man and several children.
A 17-year-old Metamora youth was cited for underage drinking after attempting to enter Oxford High School’s homecoming while intoxicated.
Resident on Laurel Leah reported that someone had damaged the four outdoor solar lamps she had in her yard.

Sunday, September 21
A little girl lost on Basket Branch called 911 for help. She was soon found by a neighbor who returned her home.
Suspicious circumstance on Louck turned out to be a father physically fighting with his daughter’s boyfriend.
A Pontiac St. trespassing report turned out to be two youths tossing a football around the Oxford High School athletic field.
Family trouble between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the Pontiac St. Apartments.

Monday, September 22
A Clarkston man has been accused by a Davisburg woman and her current boyfriend of assaulting them while outside of the child care center at Daniel Axford Elementary.
