Brandon Twp.- The township will have a public hearing at 7 p.m., Sept. 20, at the township offices, 395 Mill St., to give residents an opportunity to view the master plan and a resolution for the new recreation park at Oakwood and Hadley Roads.
The hearing is a necessary part of pursuing a DNR grant that is due in October.
‘We’re just making the language clearer,? said Parks and Recreation Director Fred Waybrant. ‘The change in the master plan is updated and current to what has taken place.?
The park’s new name, The Brandon Township Community Park, was officially approved by the board at their Sept. 4 meeting.
