Past, present booters square off for charities

The third annual Oxford High School Alumni Soccer game was a huge success, topping last year’s donations.
The total came in just under $1,000.
Much of that money will be donated to local organizations and charities.
Over 20 alumni attended the game with just as many current players. It was estimated that over 100 fans attended the game, which was an exciting one to watch. The match ended in a 4-4 tie, resulting in a penalty kick shoot-out, with the winning team prevailing 5-4 on PKs.
It was a great event and even better that so much money was raised for local organizations and charities. This is a great community to be a part of!
Be sure to watch all of the action this season as your Wildcats head into the season in less than three weeks.
