Anderson Family Financial takes the personal approach to their financial services.
“It is a holistic approach,” said Bonnie A. Anderson, Certified Financial Planner. “We view it as it is a process and a relationship lasting through generations.”
Anderson Family Financial is new to the Clarkston area but Anderson is celebrating her 25th anniversary this year. Her son, Michael Anderson, and daughter, Kimberly Buchholtz joined her a few years ago.
“Our approach is like a family,” said Michael. “We have clients with grandmothers all the way down to the grandkids.”
They offer personal financial planning as well as income tax preparation.
“The crossover with income tax is unique,” Michael said. “Usually when you do financial planning there is always a disclaimer to make sure you talk to your tax professional. We take into account the implication of any investments somebody might do.”
They will also work with you and your family with any financial planning. They will work individuals to insure personal financial success, retirement planning, college planning, settling of trusts and estates. They also have insurance sales as well.
They will also to determine if it’s the time or fits in your means for you to do what you would like to financially, Buchholtz added.
“Another thing is the consistency,” Michael said. “For instance my mom has been doing this for so long and people know when she retires who will be handling her accounts. They have met us through the years. They don’t have to worry about it.”
The list of services they provide include income tax, insurance, retirement planning, estate planning, investment planning, financial strategies, long term care planning and educational planning.
“Whatever is through throughout your financial life we can help with,” said Michael.
Anderson Family Financial is located at 6160 Dixie Highway in Suite 260, in the same building at Pete’s Coney. They will hold their Grand Opening on Aug. 7.
