Post traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury, frequently seen in veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, is the topic for the Feb. 16, VFW Post 582 breakfast meeting.
The breakfast is open to all local veterans, family members and other interested persons. Veterans will receive a breakfast at no charge if they present their discharge papers (DD from 214). Others will be charged $5.
Experts from the Department of Veteran Affairs, Notre Dame University and Ortonville Baptist Church will make the presentation. Service officers from the VA and veterans organizations will also be available to assist veterans with claims.
