Pro bowler Lomas Brown in town

There’s a lot going on down on M-24 this Thursday, July 29. According to Joe Zimmer, of the Lake Orion Culvers, former Detroit Lion Lomas Brown will be in town for pictures and autographs as part of the restaurant’s two-year anniversary celebration.
Brown, a six-time pro bowler, was drafted by the Lions in 1985. He played for the Lions for 11 seasons, and was the key blocker for one of the best running backs of all time, Barry Sanders. Brown will be at Culvers from 5 to 6 p.m. Also, all day Culver’s famous Butter Burgers are only $1 each (up to five per person). Culver’s is on the east side of M-24, north of Brown Road.
