A joint public hearing with the Orion Township trustees and the planning commission will be held at the regular planning commission meeting on Sept. 17, regarding the Hemingway Estates Planned Unit Development.
The hearing will be held at 7:15 p.m. at Orion Township Hall. The PUD project proposes 31 single-family units located on the west side of Hemingway Road.

Brandon Township’s Planning Commission has set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m., Aug. 16 at the Brandon Township Offices, 395 Mill St., Ortonville.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request from the Silverman Development Group to excavate and remove approximately 177,000 yards of material from the property north of Solley’s Appliance & Fireplace Center, 3779 Ortonville Road, Brandon Township.
