Recall only part of equation

It’s understandable, many residents? disappointment with the economy? we’re disappointed too. The recession might be more palatable if we could just see a way out or some light at the end of the tunnel.
At times, even a neutral issue is now negative.
It’s difficult to not blame now, too’we take swipes at the Bush administration, the auto industry, and Wall Street for our financial woes. We look at a sagging housing market, high gas prices and a fading job market as the cause of our problems. Many fingers are pointed’with few solutions.
This past week, four members of the Goodrich Village Council were the latest casualties of the economic fallout. If a recall attempt is successful, the replacement council has the burden of seeking a better plan, ‘post shake-up.?
Still, that said, calling for a recall is, to put it one way, a punishment that may exceed the offense if a better plan is not in place. It’s vital to be watchdogs regarding our elected officials, however, that’s only half the equation.
