Reid Elementary students in Goodrich celebrated the 100th day of school Jan. 30. Children drew pictures of how they imagined they’d look at 100.
‘I’ll be brown,? one student told her teacher, explaining her grandmother in Florida was brown.
When asked what they could buy with $100, kindergartners? answers included a toy store, mittens, a puppy, pizza, or a train, said teacher Lynne Adams, who wore a red sweatshirt adored with 100 golden safety pins in a ?100? configuration.
Children also chose 100 snack items, sorted into bags of 10, took turns drawing a section of a 100-inch snake, and feasted on a ?100?-shaped cake decorated with, of course, 100 M & M candies.
