In regards to the Ortonville Memorial Day Parade and Service 2011.
Always remember. What a wonderful celebration of our freedom. Thank you to all the service men and women who participated, to the people from Selfridge for the awesome flyover, to those who prepared the cemetery landscape, to the people involved in the program and the parade, to those involved in the preparation of setting up and taking down the beautiful avenue of flags that graced the Ortonville Cemetery. There were approximately 565 large flags flying this year. This is a terrific display of respect, honor and pride for their service to our country and to our freedom. The cemetery is in need of funds to keep up the great job being done.
