New Year’s Day brought cold and snow to the Clarkston area, as a record-setting storm dumped about a foot on parts of southeast Michigan.
Many took the opportunity offered by the holiday to stay snowed in, but for those who wanted or had to venture outside, the first morning of 2008 meant shoveling out mounds of snow.
