Last week Clarkston High School was taken over with excitement from Conrad Birdie fans for the drama club’s performance of “Bye Bye Birdie.”
Audiences were captivated by the story behind Birdie and the final kiss he was going to bestow on Kim MacAffee before he left for the army.
But before the seats filled actors, stage crew and sound and light technicians were getting ready for the show. With help of costumes, make up, fixing their hair they were ready to bring their characters to life before the curtains were raised.
