Downtown Oxford’s Centennial Park isn’t just a great place to listen to music.
It’s also a terrific venue for story-telling.
Employees from the Oxford Public Library brought summer storytime back to the quaint little park this week.
The children had a ball as they listened to some interesting stories, sang funny songs and enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine.
Storytime happens every Tuesday from 1 to 1:30 p.m. The next dates are June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16 and July 23.
Parents and kids are encouraged to bring blankets, snacks and their imaginations.
