Amanda Leach earned a College of Natural Science Faculty/Staff Endowed Scholarship at Michigan State University.
Amanda, daughter of Randy and Lynne Leach of Springfield Township, is studying Nutritional Science.

Clarkston-area students Keith Bartley and Karen Kelly graduated May 20 from Lawrence Technological University.
Bartley earned a bachelor of science degree in architecture. Kelly earned a master’s degree in science education.

Leslie Swetich, senior at Northwood University, earned an EXCEL Award for leadership.
She is the daughter of Daniel Swetich of Birmingham and Cathy Swetich of Clarkston.

Maureen Ann Kuhta and Elizabeth Marie Nussbaumer, both of Clarkston, were named to the Dean’s List for Spring 2007 at DePaul University.
Kuhta is pursuing a Biological Sciences major. Nussbaumer is pursuing a major in Political Science.

Kathryn T. Kopec of Clarkston was among 132 men and women who received Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees May 3 from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Kopec, daughter of Greg and Terry Kopec, is beginning a residency in emergency medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, in Philadelphia, Pa.. She holds a B.S. in biology from the University of Dayton.
