Thank you to everyone that supported the Lake Orion Education Foundation’s Seventh Annual Evening for Education held at King’s Court Castle last Saturday.
The proceeds from this event will provide education grants to classrooms in the Lake Orion Community Schools. We had a wonderful, well-attended Evening for Education. The support and generosity from the Lake Orion Community Schools, our local leaders, business owners and community members was tremendous.
We were also blessed with the best group of volunteers who helped make the evening so successful. Thank you SO MUCH everyone. Mark your calendars for next year’s Evening for Education, Saturday, November 9, 2013. (note: The LOEF Golf Outing will be at Devil’s Ridge on Tuesday, June 18th and the LOEF 5K will be sometime Spring 2013)
Also, a special “Thank You” to the PNC Foundation for their very generous grant to LOEF for the sponsorship of the Olweus Bullying Prevention program in coordination with the Lake Orion Community Schools. Just another way LOEF is supporting the students in our community.
