Varsity girls ski team undefeated

The Lake Orion girls ski team added four victories to their record last week, defeating Bloomfield Hills Andover, 25-56; Detroit Country Day, 20-67; Cranbrook Kingswood, 36-37; and Waterford Unified, 20-67.
The boys team won against Waterford, 29-45; Andover, 28-50; and Country Day, 20-65; losing to Cranbrook Kingswood, 29-45.
For the girls, Kristen Fleming took first in the slalom (50.57) and giant slalom (39.95), while Jessica Hutchison was fourth in the slalom (54.02).
Katelyn Rivers was fourth in the giant slalom (40.67), and Camille Seybert also scored for the girls.
For the boys team, Marty Tarr took second in the slalom (48.56), while James Hubbard was first in the giant slalom (38.13). Kyle Hutchison also scored for the boys.
The teams face off against Clarkston on Feb. 2, and head to Boyne Mountain to meet Boyne City and Charlevoix, as well as other northern Michigan teams in the Boyne Invitational.
