The Oxford Veterinary Hospital is bigger and better than ever and the public is invited to take a look.
Hospital owner Dr. Cathy Theisen is hosting an open house from Monday, Sept. 22 through Friday, Sept. 26 at her newly expanded and modernized 6 Lincoln St. facility. The public is invited to stop by any day next week between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m.
‘We’re inviting new clients, old clients, perspective clients to come in, tour the building and chat about the new facilities,? Theisen said.
The vet hospital recently expanded from 1,200 to 4,400 square feet, which includes four examination rooms (as opposed to the previous one), new sterilized surgical suite, expanded lobby and much more.
‘The other building had gotten a little too cozy,? Theisen stated as the reason for the expansion. ‘Everything is brand new here.?
In addition to Theisen, who’s owned the practice since 1991, the hospital is also staffed by Dr. Bin Strong, who has advanced training in orthopedics and ultrasound procedures, both of which are new services now available to clients.
Theisen looks forward to serving Oxford pet owners for many more years to come. ‘I would say people in Oxford are very responsible, excellent pet owners. It’s certainly a community that takes care of their pets,? she said. For more information call 628-3092.
