Village woman abducted

A 20-year-old woman was found unharmed a short time after she was abducted from her residence in the Anderson/Church area in the Village of Lake Orion.
The woman was leaving her house around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday when a man she didn’t recognize forced her at gunpoint to get into her car.
According to the victim, the kidnapper said nothing to her except to give directions to the Oakland County Bark Park off Joslyn Road in Orion Township.
The woman told police she was forced to open the trunk of her car and had to climb into it. While the man was closing the trunk, she indicated she saw a dark green Camero just arriving to pick up the gunman.
The victim, who wore a cell phone on her belt, immediately called 911 and Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies were on the scene in a matter of minutes.
“Nothing was stolen and the victim wasn’t physically assaulted,” LO Police Chief Jerry Narsh said.
“She had filed a police report earlier in the week and told us the same individual had grabbed her in the driveway, struck her in the face and left on foot,” he added. “She thinks her former boyfriend is involved somehow.”
Within hours of the incident, LO Police investigators were able to ID two individuals of interest. They were located in Pontiac with the help of the Pontiac Police Department early Saturday evening and detained for questioning. Both subjects were released pending further investigation.
The man with the gun is a white male, six feet tall, weighs 175 pounds and is in his mid-20s. The night of the abduction he was wearing a white cap, blue shirt and bluejeans. His name might be Gabe.
Narsh is asking anyone that saw the victim’s car (an older model silver grey Olds Cutlass) or the dark green Camero in the village or in Orion Township about the same time as the kidnapping to call the police department at 248-693-8321.
