Independence Township Board voted unanimously Aug. 7 to allow Waldon Woods Homeowners Association to have a street light installed by Detroit Edison on Waldon Woods Drive. The light will illuminate the boulevard entrance.
The association will pay both the installation cost of $3,552 and annual operating cost of $393.89.
