Kathy Gauthier of Ortonville and her grandsons, Nathan & Connor Bump of Waterford Township, groom and decorate the grave of her husband, Mark Gauthier who died in 1983. Gauthier, an Airman 2nd Class, was also a teacher at H.T. Burt Elementary School in Ortonville. Memorial Day observances will be marked with a parade and ceremonies which will take place in Ortonville at 9:30 a.m.The parade will begin at the Old Town Hall on the corner of Church and Mill streets, and will march to the Ortonville Cemetery on M-15.
