Bulldogs end Blackhawk’s postseason run

Atlas Twp. — The Flint Metro League Champion Brandon Blackhawks Soccer team lost on Saturday to the Mason Bulldogs 3-1 in the Regional Championship game at Goodrich.
The Blackhawks scored lone goal was on a corner kick in the second half at about 63 minutes in to cut the Bulldogs lead to 2-1. Mason scored a third goal from about 30 yards out to seal the deal. BHS #4 Colin McKinney took the corner kick and BHS # 5 Tristan Groom sent it home. The Blackhawks ended the season 10-0-1 in the Flint Metro League.
Head Coach Shawn Lovelace was named Flint Metro League Coach of the Year.
