Goodrich ? The 15th anniversary of the Goodrich Children’s Center will be held from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. March 25 in the Oaktree Elementary gym, located at 7500 S. Gale Road in Goodrich.
The celebration will include open houses in all classrooms, children’s activities, a children’s art show, and a cake and ice cream social.
Registration will also be held for fall preschool for 3 and 4-year-olds; summer Kiddie Camp and Kid’s Camp, including half-day programs for 3 to 5- year-olds, a full-day camp for school-age children, and extended day programs.
In addition, round-up will begin for SKIP (Successful Kids = Involved Parents), a program for parents of children that begins before birth and continues until kindergarten entry. The program includes developmental screening and information; playgroups for parents and children; ‘Parents as Teachers? curriculum for home visit component; vision, hearing, and dental screenings, literacy parent-child series, and a parent library and resource center.
