Lake Orion High School student Genevieve Taylor and manager of recycling efforts at the General Motors Orion Assembly Facility Michael Schafran are the newest members of Orion Township’s solid waste/recycling committee.
The board approved their appointments, for terms expiring Dec. 31, 2005, on April 5. Clerk Jill Bastian said the two had attended the committee’s March 9 meeting, and submitted letters of interest in joining.
