The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of four people with flashlights, trying to enter cars in the parking lot at Waldon Lakes Apartments on Waldon Road on May 5.
According to an OCSD report, the caller saw three white men and one black man in the parking lot. A deputy reported seeing two suspects running through the lot and getting into a vehicle. He parked behind their car and found four suspects inside matching the caller’s description.
The deputy found a toy gun, flashlight, plyers, wirecutters and gloves in the vehicle, and found more gloves and screwdrivers next to it. The deputy recovered a CD holder with CDs from the area.
The four men, three from Pontiac and one from Auburn Hills, were issued violations for larceny from an auto under $200.
