Softball loses league battle

Regular season play over, the Lake Orion High School varsity softball team lost the OAA-I title game to Troy, top-ranked in the state in Division I, on May 25.
The team lost two games to the Colts, the first 2-0 and the second 4-2. Samantha Bell and Amber Agro each had an RBI for the Dragons.
On May 26, Lake Orion went up against the Clarkston Wolves, losing both games of the doubleheader. The Dragons lost the first game 5-4, and the second 4-0.
Lauren LaPine had three hits for Lake Orion against Clarkston.
On May 27, the Dragons shut out Waterford Kettering, 9-0, as Robin Roe threw a two-hitter with two strikeouts for Lake Orion.
LaPine, Kristen Larsen, Nichole Woityra, Kelsey Stout and Agro each had two hits for the Dragons in that game.
