The 4th Annual Brandon Open Tennis Tournament is Aug. 5-15. This single elimination tournament takes place at the Harvey Swanson/H.T. Burt Elementary School Complex in Ortonville.
All participants must be able to play the week of Aug. 5. The finals are Sunday, Aug. 15.
There are two divisions, adults (ages 19 and older) and junior (ages 18 and younger) with three categories in each division, singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Entry fees for each event are $6 for singles and $10 (or $5 per person) for doubles and mixed doubles.
All participants must reside or be employed in one of the following communities: Brandon, Groveland or Independence townships, Clarkston, Goodrich or Ortonville. In addition, Brandon Schools alumni are welcome to participate.
Entry forms are available in the Brandon School District Administrative Office or the Brandon High School Athletic Office. Both offices are located at Brandon High School, 1025 S. Ortonville Road, Ortonville. All entry forms must be received by July 28.
