After the swim season ends at Green’s Park, the boards on the docks near the swim area will be replaced with tan composite boards.
The boards will be bought at Lake Orion Lumber for $3,500.
According to Lake Orion Village Manager JoAnn Van Tassel, DPW employees will do the replacement work.
Gray composite board will also replace deteriorating wooden boards on the two 4-seat tables at Meek’s Park. The metal bases of the tables will be painted green.
The estimated cost for refurbishing the tables is $180 for the materials.
Funds for the park work will be taken out of the capital improvement fund budget for parks and recreation.
