The Oct. 27 flu shot clinic at the Independence Township Senior Center is cancelled due to the recent shortage in vaccine supplies to the United States.
All flu shot clinics, such as the Independence Twp. date, have been cancelled until further notice.
When shots do become available, the Oakland County Health Division will be giving shots according to the following priorities:
‘Children from 6-23 months
‘Adults ages 65 and above
‘Persons 2-64 years of age with a chronic medical condition
‘Women who are pregnant from November 2004 through April 2005
‘Children ages 6 months to 18 years on chronic aspirin therapy
