The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of domestic assault at the Hamlin Pub on Lapeer Road on Nov. 27.
According to an OCSD report, two female roommates, both from Oxford, got into a verbal argument that turned physical. A 23-year-old Burdick woman punched her roommate, a 26-year-old Burdick woman, in the face, head and stomach.
The 26-year-old is four months pregnant, and the deputy said she had a bloody nose and lip, and was complaining of severe stomach pains.
The woman was transported to St. Joe’s Hospital by ambulance for treatment. The 23-year-old was lodged in Oakland County Jail without incident.
