The final Planned Unit Development (PUD) plan and a rezoning request for the Village Square project, located at the corner of Baldwin and Maybee Roads, was approved by the Orion Township Board of Trustees on March 7.
The site is a combination of attached residential dwelling units and commercial mixed use space, and the rezoning request was for five of six parcels of Village Square, located southwest of the intersection of Baldwin and Maybee.
The sites will be rezoned from Single Family Residential (R-2) to Restricted Business 2 (RB-2), 1.07 acres; from Office Professional (OP-1) to RB-2, 2.15 acres; from General Business 2 (GB-2) to RB-2, 2.02 acres; and from GB-2 to Multiple Family Residential (RM-2), 1.99 acres; and from RB-2 to RM-2, 6.29 acres.
