The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of harassing phone calls on Canoe Circle on March 17.
According to an OCSD report, a 39-year-old woman said she had been receiving phone calls on a daily basis from someone called ‘Nelson,? who claimed to be from a collection agency.
The woman said ‘Nelson? told her her husband owes $13,000 on a credit card, which she said they don’t have.
The woman said ‘Nelson? also had the wrong personal information on her husband, and that she had told him so but he refused to let her speak to his supervisor.
The woman contacted the annoyance bureau, and said they asked her to make a police report.
