In the interest of promoting emergency preparedness and homeland security, the City of the Village of Clarkston has free brochures explaining how local residents can be prepared for various disaster situations.
City Manager Art Pappas said the literature is available free of charge at the Clarkston city offices on Depot Street.
‘Your Family Disaster Plan? and ‘Your Family Disaster Kit? were prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the American Red Cross. ‘Tornado Safety Guidelines,? ‘Tornado Safety for the Family? and ‘Community Threat Level Guidelines? were prepared by Oakland County Emergency Response and Preparedness.
