New look at dispatch center

The final phase of upgrading the 911 dispatch center at Lake Orion’s Village Hall was approved by village council members on June 13.
Write-Line of Worchester, Massachusetts was awarded the project for a cost of $14,238. Three companies responded to the village’s request for bids.
The major work consists of removing the existing counter tops and work surfaces, cabinetry and consoles, then having modular work systems installed and connected.
The Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority Board has allocated funds for this work in its budget.
