The 2006 summer property tax bills will be sent out by July 1. This bill includes the second of three transfers of the county operating tax millage from the winter to the summer tax bills.
The net effect is your summer tax bill will be higher than last year’s bill. Your winter tax bill, which comes out in December, should be lower than your previous winter bill.
All the county operating property taxes are collected on the 2007 summer tax bills.
