A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle on Marina Pointe Boulevard on Oct. 15.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s report, a 44-year-old man said his locked vehicle was parked in the driveway of his home with his work-owned laptop tucked away inside.
The man said the vehicle’s side and rear windows are darkly tinted, so he wasn’t sure how the suspect was able to see into the vehicle at night. The suspect gained entry by smashing a rear passenger window.
The laptop is owned by DaimlerChrysler and valued at $2,000.
