Halloween candy screening available

Although your children may trick or treat in familiar areas where everyone knows everyone, some parents may still be concerned about the safety of the Halloween candy.
The Emergency Department at Clarkston Health Center would like to alleviate any concerns by offering free Halloween candy screening on Oct. 31 from 6 – 8:30 p.m.
Children’s Halloween treats are screened using x-rays to detect hidden or sharp metal objects. The screening is free of charge. For more information, contact Brenda Pauly at 248-338-5389.
Clarkston Health Center is located at 5625 Water Tower Place just off Dixie Highway, north of White Lake Road.
