It was an evening for music lovers November 3 as Oxford High School’s bands commanded the stage of the 800-seat Performing Arts Center.
Excited family members and supportive friends packed the audience to listen as the Varsity, Concert and Symphonic bands performed an eclectic and pleasing mix of songs in their first-ever Fall Concert.
Each group of musicians sounded polished and looked professional as the ladies performed in long black dresses and the gentlemen in tuxedos.
With its wonderful acoustics, comfortable seating and intimate atmosphere, the Performing Arts Center provided the perfect venue for this most memorable concert.
The next band concert will feature holiday music and is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 at the PAC.
