Oakland County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Michael Suarez said despite some sporadic incidents of vehicle larceny across Orion Township lately, so far there doesn’t seem to be a pattern.
‘So far, the number of cases has been nothing out of the ordinary,? said Suarez, a 16-year veteran of the OCSD, with two years at the Orion Township Substation.
‘We haven’t really had anything suspicious,? he said.
When it comes to preventing vehicle larceny, Suarez recommends people practice common sense.
‘Don’t leave something expensive in your car,? he said. ‘Make sure your vehicle is locked, and have some outdoor lighting left on.?
