Property owner now able to sell

Provisions of the M-24 Moratorium have been waived by Orion Township for approximately 30 acres of land on the east side of M-24, between Wally Edgar Chevrolet and Hi Hill Drive.
The waiver was requested by Suzanne Turpen who claimed the moratorium was jeopardizing the sale of her property.
The property has been for sale for about 18 years and has cost Turpen over $338,000 since her husband died in 1995.
Turpen said that waiving the moratorium will allow her family to sell the property to an interested buyer.
