Members of Lake Orion’s Downtown Development Authority Board recently provided village council members with a list of capital improvement projects being funded by the DDA.
The list included completing street lights and fencing along M-24; repaving Flint Street; upsizing the watermain in Flint Street; upsizing or lining the storm sewers and sanitary sewers in Flint Street.
Also: repaving Cass Street; repaving Broadway; possibly upsizing the watermain, storm sewer and/or sanitary sewer in Broadway.
Other items that could be added to the list include the bridge over Paint Creek at the Orion Art Center, adding sidewalks to streets that currently don’t have any buildings, and a better second floor at the village offices.
