Mike Sweeney has been appointed to the Union Church Governing Board as representative of the Orion Historical Society.
Sweeney was appointed by the Orion Township Board in December, for a term to expire on Dec. 31, 2006.
He replaces Leslie Pielack, who resigned to become Interim Project Manager of Union Church renovations.
Jack Kobliska was reappointed to the board.
