Adult Winter Reading Program
Kids aren’t the only ones looking for a good book to read these days.
That’s why the Oxford Public Library is looking for adults for their Adult Winter Reading Program.
Early registration begins Saturday, January 14 from Noon?2 p.m. in the Rotary Room.
Stop buy for a cup of soup and a chance to meet other readers.
Each book read qualifies as an entry in the library’s Friday drawings for pewter bookmarks.
The grand prize drawing will be at 2 p.m. on March 10.
Prizes include gift bags including neat items like Longaberger pottery soup mugs and gourmet soup mixes.
Register at the reference desk anytime after 2 p.m. on Saturdays as well.

Book Bingo
Another rousing game of Book Bingo will be held at the Oxford Public Library at 2 p.m., January 17. Check out the new large-print bingo cards. Win books!
Classic film
Classic Movie Matinee returns to the Oxford Public Library with a showing of Giant, starring Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson and James Dean. The movie will be shown at 1 p.m. on January 21.
