More Than Hair, located on the corner of Dixie Highway and M-15 at 5797 South Main Street, is holding a fund-raiser on Jan. 29 from 1-5 p.m. for Chris Mersino.
Mersino, 24, a Clarkston resident, was injured while at work on Jan. 5. He is currently in critical condition at William Beaumont Hospital.
Mersino is the fiancee of Ana Moor and father of four-year-old Hailee Meresino. More Than Hair owner JoAnn Zulinski is his future mother-in-law.
‘I’ve done this before for other people, but this is more important. This is family,? said Zulinski. ‘We don’t know how long this will take or how long he will be in intensive care and take to heal.?
Zulinski said all proceeds from afternoon sales on Jan. 29 will go to Mersino’s family and medical expenses. All stylists are participating in the fund-raiser.
‘They need the support right now,? said Zulinski. ‘Ana can’t focus on work at the moment, everyone is with Chris at the hospital. He needs them there.?
Appoints are available, but not necessary on that day. All services are available during the fund-raiser.
