A banner advertising the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo will be placed over M-24.
The request received approval from the Lake Orion Village Council on Jan. 9. The expo is Feb. 23 at Lake Orion High School.
The sign will go up on Feb. 15, and come down on Feb. 24. It is a 250-square foot banner, and permission was received from Detroit Edison to use its utility poles for hanging the banner.
The banner will be over M-24 in the vicinity of Green’s Park.
