A 29-year-old Flint male was arrested for operating his vehicle while intoxicated (OWI), second offense, and possession of marijuana on Dixie Highway near M-15 following an accident. According to police reports, the man ran a red light and crashed his car into three parked cars at a car dealership. The man then fled on Dixie Highway around 8:23 p.m.
Two of the vehicles were not in a drivable condition due to extensive damage.
Police found the man parked at a restaurant with a flat tire and heavy front end damage to his car following the accident. P.B.T. results were .115. A container of marijuana was found in the vehicle following the arrest for OWI. A 27-year-old passenger, whose city was not listed in the report, said the drugs recovered were not his.
